Can't play CSO files on 3.40 OE-A

I tried to use the search but didn't find the answer I was looking for so I am sorry if this is a repost. I am running 3.40 OE-A on my PSP and I can play ISO games from the memory stick. When I put a compressed CSO game into the ISO folder on the root (same as I do for ISO files) my PSP says that "There are no gmaes" when I try to play them. Can someone help me out or possibly direct me to a link? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I was running 3.40 OE-A until last week.. when I tried to run Crisis Core, it hung. I ended up upgrading all the way to 3.90M33-3, with the new 1.50v2 kernel to go with it. I've had no problems since. use http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/616311 if you'd like to go ahead and do the upgrade. :)
