Hiya all. Quick question, can I use AVI review bundled with Kazaa Lite to view downloading movies? Not pirated ones of course, shared video clips distributed with the owners consent :)

If so, which file is the actual chunks of avi? Have rummaged through the folders and found some .part files in the emp dir but do not work. Same with Torrent files, which one to pick and preview? Found this invaluable for bogus files.

Anyone help?

Funkychunkymunky :)

with kazaa lite the semi downloaded file goes straight into your my shared folder so if you look in there for a file in .dat format and then right click---->open with----->choose program---->then select AVI preview. hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I know how to use AVI preview for Kazaa .dat files but can I use it for partial downloads from emule and Bit Torrent? Doesn't seem to work. Is AVI preview specific for Kazaa?

TIA

You can't view incomplete bittorrent files. Vlc player is a good program to watch incomplete emule files.

Hi! I used a soft, named avipreview, to watch partial emule files. This soft can save partial files as movies (*.avi)
Here is the link http://www.avipreview.com/avipreview_by_aj/software/avipreview_by_aj_026_alpha.zip
