Avivo HD by Ati is well drawn out but, that somtimes causes a Slow down on High Pixil count sceens like explosens and stuff.

PureVideo HD by Nvidia is fast, but it leaves somthing to be had in the ahhh pretty picture department. i just felt like it washed out the colors a bit, to maintain it's speed.

thats my summary on the two diffrent HardWare decoders.
