I successfully made a "magic memory stick" with my 4GB SanDisk memory stick but when I tried to make a "magic memory stick" on another 4 GB memory stick (Forgot the brand name), well, it turned out to be unsuccessful :)
The recommended size for a "magic memory stick" is from 256mb - 2GB :)

I tried with my 4 GB sony high speed memory stick( the one that has a red stripe on it.) it didn't work the frist time. but i managed to get it to work using the total nebiew easy installer. I guess you can;t do it manually with those type of cards.

would a 256mb sony pro, or pro duo, card be best? would it matter, i've a feeling i read some place else that pro's don't work but pro duo's do - could anybody confirm this?
