Connecting between PC/Mac and PS3?

My friend sent me a link to setting up a connection between my PC and PS3 but it seems very complicated?

Is there a more simple explanation/easy to understand solution? I have currently updated to the latest firmware on my PS3 v2.30.

What is the easiest and best way to connect between PC and PS3?

Theres some Tversity programm...but i just tryed it and didnt work. I think most people use that tho...from the googling ive done. So yeah I'm stuck to, any thoughts guys?

How come its so difficult to connect with PC? Xbox360 was a pretty easy setup.

Seems bizarre to have to jump through hoops to get this working.

orb.com i jsut found it. Its so frigging simple to use, even my dog could do it. You download it, make an account and go, u can even use a psp or mobile etc. to lok at your files i HIGHLY reccomend it
