Ok, so this is the prob. I can make a magic memory stick, no probs. but when I run the battery creator, and the other thing, i get a black screen and and error message saying "the game could not be started" I am running M33 3.90, but i had this problem in the past, with older firmwares. i have tried 3 different batteries, and i don't know why the firmware installer and battery creator wont load. all the batteries i tries were genuine Sony batteries, and they were NOT Pandora proof!
Thank you,
Aszbaz

Well, there are two pandora battery creators :)
The old pandora battery creator, which only works on 1.50 kernel :) [If you use that on a 3.90 kernel, then it will surely show that message]
And the other one is the "OS Pandora battery Tool" which will work on "2.71 and above" firmwares :)
Note : Before you do the below steps, make sure that you have your kernel set to 3.90 :)
To do so, enter the recovery mode of your PSP :)
Originally posted by acidy: To access recovery mode follow the following steps :-
1. Completely shut down your PSP (Not stand-by)
2. Hold the "R" button (i.e right trigger) while starting your PSP ^_^
3. You are now on recovery mode
It should look something like THIS
Then, go to "Configuration" and then in "Game Folder Homebew" option switch to "3.90 kernel" :)
For the pandora battery Creator,
Well, since you have 3.90m33 firmware, use the "OS Pandora battery Tool" to create the pandora battery :)
"OS Pandora battery Tool" : HERE
For the Installer,
Download any "Despertar Del Cementerio" from http://www.dark-alex.org :)
Despertar Del Cementerio v4 is recommended by me :) [It will install 3.80m33-5. You can then install 3.90m33-3 manually]
In Despertar Del Cementerio v5, you have to put make a config.txt and put it in the "TM" folder which is kinda troublesome, that's why it's not recommended by me :)
HERE is a short guide on how to use "Despertar Del Cementerio v4" :)
You can download the required firmwares from HERE
Note : Well, I think the pandora battery creator/installer that you are using may be the older version which requires the 1.50 kernel >_>
If you have the PSP Classic (If you have PSP slim, then ignore), then, install the 1.50 kernel on your PSP and then switch your kernel to 1.50 kernel and then try your old installer/creator :)

Ok, so I have a pandoras battery now. but all that happens is when i put the Magic stick into a psp, and put the battery in, is the screen stays black and the power light turns on. Ive tried lots of different programs to make a magic stick, but the same thing happens?! :( ,
