.mp3 is the best format :)
I usually format my songs at 128kbps and a sampling frequency of 44.100 kHZ :)

If you have SonicStage try using Atrac at 64 or 128kbs.

With Sony daps this format is more "efficient" and gives you a longer battery life that you would get with archaic mp3.

Sonicstage links with my psp fine.

Hey guys :)
.at3 format works good for the "Game choosing music" but well, when I put an at3 file in my MUSCI folder it doesn't show up and then when I rename it to .mp3, it shows corrupted file >_>

Yeh - like Mr G said, use SonicStage to convert your files/rip your cds/ whatever.

But also use it to transfer the converted files to your psp - don't just drag and drop like you would an mp3.
