I have done some searching and maybe looking in the wrong places. I currently have a ps2 slim but want to get the old bulky model PS2 because I do not want to spend the money on boot discs/mod chips (can trade the slim for an old one no charge). I do not recall the correct model number that I will need to do the trick of 1) taking off the front cover of the cd tray 2) using the "slide card"/"butter knife" trick 3) take out gameshark cd and insert copy of original for it to run fine. Does anyone recall the model number of this old ps2 that I need to look for? Thanks

SCPH-50001 is what i have and it runs any of the cd loader exploits just fine[if thats what u are doing] but im pretty shure any fat ps2s will work

but if you want to make your slim version work i have seen people a get plastic credit/debit/shopping/etc. and make their own magic keys
just do a google search 'make my own magic keys' or something like that
