I have downloaded a movie which consists in 2 avi files. How can i merge them into one? I need to convert them to mpeg to merge the 2 files?? What software is reccomended?
I am still a begginer. Any help pls

VirtualDub will do, open the first, select Append AVI, select the second one, go to Video menu, change it to Direct Stream Copy, go to Audio menu, change it to Direct Stream Copy and save the whole thing as "fullmovie.AVI" or something like that.

Thanks for your help but with no success. When i am trying to open the 1st file an error is displaying.

Could'nt locate decompressor for format "MPH3" (Microsoft High Speed Mpeg-4V3).

Do you know what does this means.??

You're missing codecs -- install DivX5 and try again. If it doesn't work, install DivX 3.11 alpha.
