Analog Predicament

OK, now my friend recently gave me his thrashed PSP for free. And by thrased I mean dropped repeatedly. Now I have fixed everything excepth the analogue stick. Apparently there is some connector between the faceplate analog thing and the motherboard, which I am missing. My question is what that is called, where I can find it, or how can I make it?

There is a rubber connection b/w the motherboard and the analog stick :)
You can find that on eBay :)

thanks but on ebay all i see is the piece directly on the faceplate. any suggestions for the connector

In the internet browser(or any game) the analog goes to the bottom right corner, which sucks.

have you got all the screws for the face plate all screwed in tight if not you will need them other wise the analog stick will not connect well.
if you do have all the screws check to see if there are 2 screw for the analog stick and that they are screwed in tight if not then you will need to find the 2 screws that fit
if you have all the screws then it will be the rubber connecter check if you have one its should be in a gap by the screen where the analog stick is and it should look seethrough apart from 4 metal wires running through it.
if it is there check to see if it the right way up, the metal bits should connect to the analog stick and the mother board.
if it is no there then the link that i gave you above is what you need to buy

Buy the rubber fitting from the link that Dr1ver gave you :)
Well, then after you fit it, you'll get SOME minor analog "dead zone" problems :)
That can be fixed by using the "Joysens" plugin :)
