As per other postings I have read - The d2v file in tmpgenc(12a) cannot be seen unless you change to "all files" and then when you load the d2v file it errors with message - "cannot be opened or is not supported".
I have tried various versions but still have the same problem????????????
Also have a second pc with the same software and it works fine.???? Can someone help me who has solved this problem as I have spent days trying to solve it!! Please email-mickyfraser@bigpond.com Thanx

Use the latest TMPGEnc from this URL:
TMPGEnc.cfm " class=korostus target="_blank">http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/TMPGEnc.cfm

Use AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI v1.76 or v1.84, NOT the v1.82 -- 1.82 doesn't work with TMPGEnc. Download v1.84 from here:
AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI.cfm " class=korostus target="_blank">http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI.cfm

You also need to have VFAPI plugin for TMPGEnc installed, download it from here:
TMPGEnc.com/files/TMPGEnc-2.01.30.116-vfp.zip" class=korostus target="_blank">http://www.TMPGEnc.com/files/TMPGEnc-2.01.30.116-vfp.zip

Run Tmpgenc.exe and make sure Files of type option "DVD2AVI Project File(*.d2v)" is missing. In that case here is the solution
:-
I think DVD2AVI.vfp file might be missing in the DVD2AVI.exe existing directory. Keep that file and run TMPGENC.exe, You will get option in Files of type "DVD2AVI Project File(*.d2v).
Then the problem will be solved.

All you need to do is make sure all of the TMPGEnc files and DVD2AVI files are in the same directory.

It took me about 3 hours to figure this out.

Good Luck
