I just bought a PS3 40gig and want to get online. My PS3 is upstairs and my computer is downstairs. The computer is online with DSL w/ the modem next to it.

So do all I need to do is connect the DSL modem to a wireless router? ...which I still have to purchase...

I put this thread in here because I also want an opinion on a good router specifically for the ps3.

ok here i don't know if i have a dsl or wat but i went to network settings on the xmb view andthen went to network config(i think it was) and then went to custom,wireless,scan and find out which won i strongest and then just keep goin automatic from there
