It's really easy to do in avalaunch or evo x, i really don't know about unleash X. I have all the dashes on my xbox so when i get home tonight i'll try to find the igr setting and repost.

If you can ftp into your xbox

Copy your c: to your computer

Download http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GHHFXQJI

Replace your c: with this one and then restart your xbox

OR

You can download the AID disc and easily install any dashboard you want.

search for tutorials first then ask

From the unleashx wiki
Quote:
Q) Does UnleashX have In Game Reset? How do you work it? How do you return to dash from a game/app?
A) Using gamepad key-combos to reboot the xbox is commonly referred to as IGR. UnleashX DOES NOT provide IGR capability. If you want IGR capability, you must use a bios or softmod that does. If IGR is enabled and working on your xbox, the following combos should trigger it:

Left-trigger + Right-trigger + Back + Start
Left-trigger + Right-trigger + Back + Black
So disabling it probably isn't the issue with your game (whatever it is) not working, and as unleash doesn't support the feature there is no way to handle it. I haven't found it to make a damn of difference on 99% of games, where changing the game region and clearing the cache does. Most likely to be the game region setting instead.

Easiest way to change the dash is to run the softmod again and just choose the alternative evox dash. http://downloads.xbox360-tribe.org/index.php?act=view&id=856

In the evox dash there are 2 settings to disable it ;)

What game is giving you troubles?.. I only know 2 that cause problems.. Full Spectrum Warrior and San Andreas.

Nobody has asked what sort of mod you are running.. if it's a softmod be very careful messing with anything on C:, especially overwriting files blindly. If it's a chip some have a reset in the chip dash.

That should do it.. but take care. Don't just go randomly changing files on C:... Mine has been set to on for years with no troubles.

If it is a softmod with the feature enabled in the replacement bios there isn't really much you can do about it.. It will remain on no matter what.

Before we can proceed we really need to know if you have a chip, tsop flash or softmod.. because changing the dash varies every time.

Some of the advice that has been given previously in this topic had been risky to say the least. You arew lucky not to have an error16 brick.

Look for chunkhead or the ridges and read their dashboard guides carefully ;)

Just switch your C: with that one i gave you it's perfectly safe. It works 100% on stock softmod boxes because it overwrites the file from c: telling it to go to E: or whatever startup file you chose.

This will load avalaunch as your default dashboard, go to SETTINGS, then go to MAIN OPTIONS, from the side menu select BOOT OPTIONS, then it's the second option in that menu X2 IGR. change it to DISABLED, and restart your xbox.

I've never had a problem with the igr and more than likely it's something else that's messing you up. Anyway hopefully this will end this thread.

when you post you need to let us know exactly what worked or didn't work. I told you that you can also download aid and install any dashboard you want.

Before we get into that what is the problem that you're having? Obviously it's not the igr, maybe your console is overheating or you have some other problem.

Describe your problem to us.
