Textbook's guide uses a dummy Serial Number as "1234567 12345"
he puts a space in it when doing the flashing.

My questions is this:
My serial number on my box does not have a space in between the numbers. Its in the format of "123456712345". Do I put a space in as textbook does or do I input it without, as its printed on my box?

You hav'nt got to put in the serial number, just use 123456........ as per the text book if you want.

The benefit of using the serial number is if you are flashing a few 360's at once. The program automatically creates a folder to save the old and new FW, the folders name is the serial number you entered.
