The Modchip must be able to backup and play PS2 and PSX games.
Not damaging the CD lens is a plus.

Well since it is a V12, I think any chip will require a laser fix along side it. As for which chip to get, I would say DMS4 Pro, Matrix infinity, and the Crystal Chip. Those seem to be the most popular.

I also want to be able to do a no disc swap.
Theory:
1. Turn on PS2
2. Load Game with AR codes or equivalent
3. Play game

All without leaving the couch.
What would I need to pull this off?
Having the storage device being able to connect to the PC would be a plus.

Here is my idea for your situation. Install a DMS4 Pro chip, install either HD Combo or HD connect. Then I read something about installing codebreaker onto the HD on sksapps.com, though I have yet to try it myself.
The storage device would be able to connect to your comp as it would be a HD.
