Ive been using dvd shrink and dvd decryptor, and I have been getting alot of coasters lately what im looking for is something to replace these two programs, something with good compression and something that has no problems working with each other. if theres a program that can do both i would love that.....I also have anydvd and ripit4me that i use sometimes and also dvdfab...so i really need 1 or 2 programs that i can rely on...Thanks in advance

iluvendo is right on.

dvd rebuilder is a great proggie for quality.

Are you getting some type of error, or completed burns that won't play?

well when I was using Shrink and decryptor I would start the burn prosess and it would get to like 98% and then error, so I would pop another blank disk in and it would get to 95% and then error. It could be bad media (memorex single layer). But I tried Dvd rebuilder and once i got everything set up correctly its been working great. I probaly wont need to ever buy the high priced double layer disks again thanks for the info. Its an amazing program...

You're very welcome.

Oh, and stay away from Memorex and other cheap blank media. Stick with either Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim.

How about Sony 4.7 or the DL 8.5? I've been using these for a few years and so far all is great. How does sony dvd's match up with your list?

You should be just fine with Sony's.

If you're extremely lucky you can get some older ones that are MIJ, but don't hold your breath on that one. ;)
