You can use any DVD authoring program you just need to Demux the audio from the VCD"s and resample it to 48000hz and then you can Author them to DVD useing something like "Tmpgenc DVD author"...There isn"t Much to it accept it is Better To Join all of the Parts from each movie into one File and then Demux it and resample the audio and then author to DVD..You can do the joining and the Demuxing and the audio resampleing useing "Tmpgenc" and the DVD authoring with "Tmpgenc DVD Author" Both programs have a 30 day demo available......Cheers

I, too, could use a guide for converting VCD to DVD. Plenty of guides out there that show how to do the opposite. :) But, I couldn't find one to do the reverse of that.

Well there isn"t anything to it so a Guide would be Pointless...It is Totally Simple Even a Monkey could Figure it out...You Just use Tmpgenc"s "Merge & cut" to Merge all 2 or 3 Parts of the VCD into the same File , then use Tmpgenc"s "Simple Demultiplex" to seperate the Merged VCD file into a seperate audio and Video file...Then Just Load the audio into TMPGEnc and encode it to the same format but at 48000hz ,Then Load the Demuxed video and the Resampled Audio into TMPGEnc DVD author and Make a DVD..See Totally Simple....

It's just something I'll have to get my hands into, then, as I've never done any of that before. :)

To get VCD Mpeg1 files off the CD-R and on to your Hard drive you can use a few Different Methods, You can even Just Put the VCD into your CD-Rom and go into the Disk into the "MpegAV" folder and drag the "AVSEQ01.Dat" file to your desktop then rename the File to something like "Movie-Part-1.mpg" then do the same with each Part...You can also use something like "VCDEasy" or even something like "ISO Buster" to extract the mpeg file off of the CD-R...
