Hi I was wondering if it was possible to mod xbox games such as on pc where people change cars and stuff in gta san andreas. Would it be possible to do that on the xbox version of san andreas maybe if you like edited the iso on the disc.

Nope it's not possible, it's a lot more locked down because it is a console game.

You need to go back and delete your other 2 posts before a moderator sees them and temp suspends your account.

O sorry about the other two it was an accident could you please tell me how to delete them. Also you say its more locked down than that but when you create backups of games you get iso's. Isnt it possible to extract those isos and tamper with the files inside?

Ok first iso = an image file. Image files are not playable. Image files are ment to be burned to a cd so it is a perfect image of what was copied.

The xbox plays files in a hierarchy file system. If you wanted to you could mod your xbox so you can ftp into the game and pull the files from it. Im sure you can modify all sorts of things there's a couple trainers out for san andres.

As for adding new cars and whatnot i don't think that's possible unless you know what you're doin coding wise. Either way try it if you want, there's more than enough soft modding tutorials on here.

I've seen that people edit the pc versions of san andreas and since they do that they must know what they are doing coding wise. Can't those people create those files to replace cars. Then when you use ftp programs to rip images off of xbox dvds you could edit the image to replace the cars. Isnt that possible?

Yea you can mod xbox games. I got a torrent of San Andreas for xbox and it has modded cars, new skins, Even the shops are modded.
