PSP running very very slow ...help !

Hi

My nipper has had a PSP since Xmas & has been running absolutely fine.....has firmware 3.71 installed with a genuine 4gb memory card.

Ever since last week, all the games (running off memory card) have been taken an age to load & then run very slowly making them unplayable. Music & video on the memory card run fine but games (lego star wars/rocco loco) don't.

I have reformatted memory card & placed one game back on at a time but still runs slow !

Any ideas ?

change the cpu speed make it 333mhz, in vsh menu or in the recovery menu

Im assuming you are running custom frimware are you said you have games on the memory stick.

Music and video do not require the processing power that games do. also try and reformat flash1 from the recovery. this usually fixes and registry type problems

or ... if it still lags. Put the fatsmod patch or change ur UMD more to UMD req or M33 driver
