Hi
As you have official sonyfirmware, you will only be able to download "official" PS1 games from the PS Store and transfer them to your PSP. If you want to rip and play your own, you will need to install custom firmware, using THIS guide (tried and tested by hundreds of people, including me).
You can then click the link in my sig, which will take you to a guide i have written on converting PSX games to PS1 format.
You can already visit the PSN on your PC, im not sure about on the PSP itself.
The PSP will connect to the PSP already, you just need to plug it ion and set up the remote play. Follow THIS guide to show you how.
Hope that helps, post back with any further questions.
The guide i linked you to is the most simple and easy to follow there is. Its really clear and well written and has pictures...couldnt really be more simple if you follow it.
hey in your tutorial it mentions about a modded battery is that absoutley needed and also i read ur tutorial on PSX to PSP and u said it plays best on 3.71 so how about on 3.90
hey man thanks for all ur help i dont think ill be doing this though it seems a little dangerous (making the battery yes i read ur guide) but ill just go buy a PS3
making the battery is not nearly as intimidating as it sounds. it took me all of an hour to mod my PSP, and its 10 times cheaper than buying a PS3 (and relying on network connectivity for remote play).
