Hey, Is there anyway I can change my button configuration on custom firmware or install a patch where I can change my configuration, because at the moment my start button doesn't work..
I've tried everything i've opened it and even tried that way. cleaned it etc...
If there are anyways of making my 'start' button swap with say my select or something please let me know...
I've never heard of a add on to change button configuration, but you can get replacement button sets to swap yourself, found THIS on ebay for £5.99, should be easy enough to swap them over if you've taken the PSP apart before.
Thanks for reply, But It's not the buttons because when I took the psp apart I pressed the actual start button,beneath the plastic one and it still didnt work.
It seems to be a glitch because when u press home in the middle of a game, It gets jammed and the only way to get out of it is to turn the psp off and put it back on again...
And in the nickname box it just goes off by itself which means I cant change my nickname.

Sounds like the firmware could be corrupt...have you tried reinstalling with pandora?
unfortuantely, if it was happening before the firmware, and you have removed the buttons etc it may be the actual circuit board...however i am far from an expert at this, so i cannot confirm that. im sure another member will have a better idea about this than i will.
