Wii / Rear projector TV Issue

Got my hands on one of these TV's.

It works fine with my Sky box and DVD player but when connected to my Wii it goes out of focus (red and blues diverge, like watching a 3d movie without the glasses).

Tried the tv's auto focus and manual focus but no luck.

Anyone had this problem or know anything about it ?

Could it be that I have a Jap wii (ntsc) ?
