Hey,

I recently purchased a second-hand PSP. I can't tell you what firmware it's got, but here's my question -

I downloaded a game, put the ISO file in the ISO folder and the game worked... provided that the PSP was connected to my computer. Disconnecting it meant that the game didn't work.

Any ideas why this might be?

to find your fw go to settings ---> system settings ---> system information and then it should say system software thats your fw

if it does not have m33 or oe then its not custom firmware so you will need pandoras battery and a magic memory stick to get to cfw
