Hi i have a problem regarding contacts and their numbers.

I own an Unlocked iPhone.

The Scenario is this:
In malta there are 2 carriers: "Go mobile" and "Vodafone"

Malta's code is (+356). Therefore if you need to call from abroad you need to enter +356 79287676. But when I saved the contacts I just enter the number without the area code (i.e. the +356)

The problem comes here:

When I receive a call from a Vodafone carrier the number I get showed up is with +356 (i.e. +356 99367378). While when I receive a call from a Go Mobile carrier the number I receive is without the +356 (i.e. 79356356)

All the sms messages I receive come with the +356, regardless if Go Mobile or Vodafone)

In other words the number of an SMS from Go Mobile has the code (356) and the calls have no code.

While setting up my contacts I cannot set the Go mobile contacts accordingly because either I have SMS messages with the name respectively or the calls in the other way round.

Sorry for the long thread but I am really sad that I have purchased an iPhone and cannot make it work optimally.
