Top of the forum has guides on hardmodding/softmodding for a pandora battery (actually called service battery).

There is a device that will turn your current psp battery into a service battery and back to a regular one.
Its at us.codejunkies.com ----> look for PSP Service Battery Tool; not Tool Battery.
