I am in need of some STEP-BY-STEP newbie help.

I want/need to return my PSP to latest official Sony firmware so I can run it with my PS3.

I am not interested in staying with a hacked version, so please don?t suggest it as it is just too much trouble keeping up.

I have a TA-082 FAT PSP that a while back I upgraded to a hacked 3.03, recently I found this would not go to 3.95 from Sony. After an intermediate ?bricked? stage I was able to return it to 1.50, and then back all the way to Official 3.11 any official firmware after that I receive the ?The system configuration of this PSP? DRNFFFFFFD7? error.

I have tried both IDStorage and LeyCleaner, no matter which firmware I try these on I get the same "The Game could not be started 80020001 or 80020148" error.

I would rather not open a battery to make a Pandora battery, I only have the one.

I have Lumines and GTA.

I have read ~6 different forums, and probably over 100 posts and I feel I have tried everything I can, and have been pointed in all kinds of different directions.

HELP, please let me know the steps to return this to stock so I can upgrade to the latest Sony firmware.

you will need to use pandoras to get to higher fw (i think) because sony stopped patched ta-082 motherboards updating to fw above 3.11

what you could do is use lumuins to get to 1.50 and then make a pandoras battery then make the magic memory stick (other way round if you use your psp to connect your memory card to the pc) and then istall 3.90 with dark alexs pandora thing v5
