Hi,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I've tried reading through the 100 pages for wiikey update problems and SMG etc and haven't found much.

Basically I'm wondering if there is a way, (or if its in the works), to patch an ISO file for SMG, SSBM, etc. to remove the portion that is able to detect if a modchip is being used.

I'm one of the unfortunate ones that is getting the connections failed problem when trying to update wiikey to 1.9g or 1.9s.

I know this probably should be in the SMG or Updates sticky but it seems more likely to be viewed here with any comments as opposed to on page 145 in one of the other threads.
