i try to load either a .cso or .iso and umd's and it either will stay black for minutes or give me the cannot be started code with various numbers.. ideas??? i have set the advanced settings to disabled. its my friends psp dont want to have to owe a new one.

put a umd in the drive and try playing a iso see if that work also the game may need higher fw to play. there a guide stickied at the to on how to updateto 3.52m33-4+ (you need to update to 3.52m33-4 before you can update higher)

well id say update to 3.90m33 or 3.80m33 due to the fact no games need fw higher than that. but if your happy at the moment with what you got id leave it. iv stade at 3.71m33 for ages and cant be bovered to update as none of my games need higher fw.
