i bought a 4GB memory stick in Indonesia a while ago and found out that it is a fake, everything is working fine and i havent had any problems but what is the difference between the real and the fake ones could it break my PSP or anything

there shody so are more likly to brake in time.
iv got a fake 4gb and it all right for playing game and that but its just falling to bits

so it wont last as long as a normal one

They have lower read/write speeds, so more lag is likely. As driver1 says they always fall to bits.

Ive had my memory stick for a while now and only recently discovered its fake.

ive had no probs with it whats so ever.

Part that sucks that it gradually stops working. When i first started the psp scene I went for a fake 4gb, later isos couldnt be recognized and I even tried it on my camera and pictures were all wack. I heard from other ppl that the ms just stops working after a year or two. Original sony 4gb just ends all the trouble in the long run. or sdisk.
