Hello...I'm trying to make a few DVD copies of the show Dexter. I have both seasons converted to MPEG format already. However, each episode is about 1.3 GB so I'm only able to really get about 3 episodes per disc. Is there a way to shrink the size of each episode to fit more on a disc? I was hoping to use something like DVD Shrink but you can't use MPEG to create an ISO. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have to have the files as MPEG and not avi or iso?
What ripping software are you useing, You should be able to just rip straight from the disc and keep all eposides and menus along with it if say for instance you use DVDShrink to rip it to your HD. That's an option and of course more will follow from other members.

ReJig can be used to shrink MPEGs like DVD Shrink can be used on DVDs. However, do you really want to lose quality? Blanks are relatively cheap and if you're using DVD format 2 to 2.5 hours is about right for a single layer disk. DivX/XviD, if your player supports it, is another option. These codecs look pretty good at about 600 MB per hour, vs. 2 GB per hour for MPEG2 (DVD).
