izzit possible to change my modchip and if it is where can i buy modchips in singapore i dont like to ship it coz i dun tink its safe.
how do i check wad modchip i am useing and is wiikey the only modchip that can play super smash bros.
how do i update my modchip and if there is a faq about this plz redirect me to it

Ok, one question at a time dude. And most of these have been answered many times before but I'll do some quick answers for you.

Yes. Just take it out and put a new one in.

I dont know any off the top of my head, but google would be a good place to start looking for one.

The only way to be sure is to open the console up and look at it, but you can narrow it down based on when you bought the wii and by checking the serial number agaisnt the refrence to see what chipset you have. If you have D2C then its probably a D2Ckey or D2CPro. If its D2B chipset or earlier then you probably have a wiikey.

I dont know where you heard that it was the only one that could play brawl, becuase they all will play it. In fact, for awhile the wiikey was the only one that couldnt play the game. But its fixed now.

That depends on what modchip you have. If its a wiikey then look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/597460 to see all the information on how to update the wiikey. If you have a D2C chip it may not be upgradable or, if it is, its much more difficult to do.

I have a question for you though. Why do you want to swap the modchip? If its stopped working there may be ways to fix it without having to take the console apart or do any soldering.
