Real simple, I have dvd flick works damn good, Certain dvd players can only play the dvds. Is there another program out there? I used convertxtodvd doing Street Kings and it stayed on 98.2% for 2 hrs. After 3 hrs of encoding to that part,so i said f%#k it and stopped it. Is there anybody that can help me. I use verbatim, memorex,sony & tdk disc if your wondering. Thanks for some help please!!!!

If by that you meant that "DVD Flick works good, but only certain players play the DVDs", most likely is not a problem with DVD Flick, but with the media you use/the players. Some play DVD-R, some DVD+R, some only DVD+R booktyped to DVD-ROM. other players don't care, play anything you through at them, short of a piece of toast!
I use Xilisoft avi to dvd after useing DVD Flick. A lot of people like DVD Flick but I found Xilisoft and you can say purchased it and the conversion is as simple as can be. Pick your file (s) crete the iso image and burn with ImgBurn or DVDSanta.
cyprusrom is right about what type of disk it is that you are useing, check your dvd player and see what all it supports and stick to those disks,(dvd-r or dvd+r)
I highly recommend Xilisoft as I download files instead of ripping straight from the disk, the conversion is quick, you can add menus, etc. Now Xilisoft is shareware and you would have to purchase it.
Ha, I remember now you really adore that Xilli thingie! My conscience would not let me use a paid for software, when there is an excellent freeware!(And I am not talking about the financial aspect, I know very well that almost any soft can be "acquired"! DVD Flick a king! Even ConverxtoDVD failed me a few times and I un-installed it(did not want to accept some files , so I served them to DVD Flick).

I did enjoy DVD Flick as it is freeware it was for some reason or another the quality of the final iso was bad, sound was distorted, etc. I do not try to bash DVDFlick it was full of many options that Xilisoft does not have it was just my experience with the freeware that had me search for an alternative convertor.
I believe that's the only software I have ever purchased, I wasn't big on the idea of spending money on the program but when I speant more time in here trying to set everything up correctly, I caved in.
Are you guys getting "DVD Quality" with DVD Flick?
I ask because the ones I converted were not terrable but not good either and whenever the scene would go black the sound & music would get distorted. I couldn't find anything that would eliminate that problem I was having.
