Ok. Here's the thing. For as long as I can remember, there haven't been any good ps2 releases lately (which I mean a very long time). At least not in the USA anyways. I've been importing alot of games from Japan and they are awesome. I'm able to play certain games and stuff (by randomly pressing any button) but I want to understand it and know the story line. It's also not as fun or exciting if you can't read or understand Japanese. There are these REALLY interesting SRPG/Adventure game that I have, called Namco X Capcom, Macross, Cowboy Bebop, GANT, etc. that I really want to know how to play. It involves pressing a bunch of buttons in sequence and using commands, but I'm clueless in what to do as all the text are in Japanese. So my question is: is there any program that will convert the Japanese text in a ps2, to English text? Or is there a program that will allow me to rebuild the games to use English text? I was just wondering if it was possible.
Also for HDLoader users, If you have the following games, which mode do you set it to, to make the game start:
There are some groups out there that translate and release japanese-to-english patches for some games. A few ps2 games that i know that have english patches are Front Mission 5, Kingdom Hearts CoM and Namco X Capcom. The NxC is still in private beta testing.

Right, but they only undub audio right? Or do they do text also. I have Front Mission 5 (the original JAP version) and I'd say at least 90% of the menu and text are already in Eng, so I wouldn't know what there is left to translate. Do you know where I can read more about the translating of Namco X Capcom? By the way, thanks for your reply.
