yes

step 1: put USB stick into USB slot
2: open up iPrep
3: load firmware definition (1.4.1)
4: select drive letter from drop down box
5: hit make bootable
6: shut down computer
7: deassemble 360 and hook the dvd drive up to the PCI card
8: turn computer on, boot off the USB stick
9: follow command prompts (it will put the orig.bin on the USB stick after you run the dben 1234567 12345 command.)
10: shut down 360 and computer and restart into windows
11: open up Firmware toolbox and make sure the FW it dumped is a legit one. if so move on, if not do as i said before to copy and paste a legit key in it.
12: restart computer and boot off the USB drive.
13: follow command promts and run the fben 1234567 12345 command to erase/flash the drive with the 'hacked' firmware.
14: shut down 360 and computer
15: put a burnt game in it to make sure it plays.
16: if it plays, put 360 back together
17: if it doesnt play games, see if it will play original games then restart computer off the USB drive, hook 360 back up and run the rben 1234567 12345 command to restore it to original shape. and start over.

its the card you have to buy to flash the benqs and sammys with. just google it, and you should get plenty of links. it has to be a via 6421 chipset.

You should be sure you don't have onboard SATA on your motherboard before you go and buy a PCI card. I have onboard SATA and it worked like a charm for flashing my 360. One word of advice though, if you do have onboard SATA and find that the port you are using isn't working, try one of the others.

It would only be a waste of money if you have onboard sata.

i have been trying to figure out how to flash my benq since my hitachi died :( about 5 months ago. Anyway i have a laptop so when i flashed the hitachi i just used a sata to usb adapter and it worked beautifully. i cant get into my laptop to do this flash the normal way so i was wondering if i could use that same adapter to connect the 360 to the computer through the usb. also, if i could would everyhing else be the same or would i have to change some steps. any help is GREATLY appreciated... Thanks
