All you have to do is use Pandora Battery to downgrade any psp.
M33 updates don't work on official firmwares

Want ISO's Rip them from the UMD.

change the thread title first to something a bit more descriptive

you need pandoras battery and a mms to install cfw you can install it from ofw due to the fact that the cfw update is not licenced code by sony so it wont run on ofw

right you will need to make the magic memory stick file on the computer so it can install cfw. basicly the pandora battery boots from the memory card and not from the flash0 so there is no restriction on running programs on the psp so you can run the update (made special for the magic memory stick).

there are thread stickied about this at the top

to create the pandora battery you will need to hard mod one or buy on as i persume you dont know someone with cfw.

to change the thread title click on the last post there should be a link in the bottom right change it to psp fat 3.71 to 3.71m33 or something like that.

The only solution is pandora. But since it won't start just buy a datel tool and use this

Want ISO's Rip them from the UMD.

well yo have two chocies

1) datel tool battery as pointed out above

2) hard mod the battery basicly you cut a pin on the eeprom chip to make into 0XFFFFFFFF other wise know as service mod (pandoras battery)

use this guide if you choose to do that but i only recomend doing it if you have a extra battery

you can however make a mms with out the need of a cfw psp

this guide should help but i dont think it works on vista well

hope that helps
