the last two days I had been playing with my XBOX to hack the dvd-drive. I want to play downloaded games on it. This all worked fine and I managed to do it.
Only now, burned games work, but after a minute of 15/20, I get 2 leds blink red.

I found this is a heating problem, so it is still fixable.
But why do I suddenly get this?
What is the best way to fix it?

Your 360 is overheating.

Replace the the thermal paste on the cpu and gpu with AS5.

But why?
I didnt touch any of that parts only the dvd drive to change the firmware on the drive...

It was probably going to happen regardless. Just a coincidence would be my guess. It happens.

Make sure your fans (both) are running while the system is on.
