Hi Damoirl,
You should still be able to get the freeview channels.
Rte 2, TV 3,Channel 6,Setanta Ireland,Bubble Hits and Euronews.
If you are not geting these channels, it's more than likely that the cable company that you use has changed something.
Connect your cable lead directly into your TV and see what happens.
What area are you in and I will see what I can find out.
My replay lite is working OK.
Dublin 9.

dublin 12 here for the last 2 days they have been messing with the signal most mornings all week its been flickering on/off i,ve a sneaky feeling something is coming soon whoooooooo!! ppppsss if the makers of replay lite are reading this please please please fix the info or epg button pleeeezzzzzeeeeee..... ppss does anyone know any other websites that has a forum similer to this??

There's a lot of upgrading going on at the moment.
There are lots of forums regarding different cable boxe's on the net.
I have seen many and believe me "this one is the best"

And that's for sure Brian ;-)
With no disrespect to the other forums I've noticed that when users reply they tend to give you the Info in bits or maybe a half of an idea as to where to go looking. I'm not suggesting they do it intentionally but sometimes I think they forget that they may be dealing with new people who haven't got a clue & actually need every step detailed for them.
That's what makes this forum different. If anyone here can help they will & with very detailed instructions & in your case Brian & Sc0users too you will even go to the bother of researching to get an answer wherever & whenever you can.

Sc0user,celitc and myself always try to treat everyone with respect and understanding, Moggser does that too.
So do all the other people who give up their spare time to come on and help, there are far to many to mention and to them all I apologise for not remembering their names.
Old age has crept up on me.
I remember when I first came on here after I had messed up flashing my replay lite, I got all the help I needed and more.
Oh yes I seem to remember who helped me out with that little problem.
Gman496 it was your good self.
From then on I wanted to learn all I could and to be as helpful as I could to everyone and I could and to pass on the help that was shown to me.
I have been around lots of different forums and the people on here are the most helpful by far.

Well there you go Brian, I had exactly the same introduction as your good self. I came to this forum seeking help & I hadn't got a clue, I asked for help & good old Debic came to the rescue & she was great, she stepped me through all the steps, that's what got me up & running at the time & like you & the others, if I can help anyone out here I will.

Fantastic forum even for the likes of me who hasnt a clue :) I get pms from people to say they have been here for a long time but have never posted as they can find all their info here already and just to say thanks.
As a community I think as Brian has said it far surpasses others and all the members here from new to old go out of their way to help people. As said I am here to learn more than teach as such is the wealth of knowledge here. With that you also find a lot of kind and friendly people here, (one or two Aho*es as well but they are always around).

You may remember some time ago I was looking to set up my lite in Malahide in C****s territory. I got hold of a Eurovox box on that occasion and it worked fine. I'm now trying the Lite in C****s in the Celbridge area. i flashed the box with V7.56 and have scanned the freqs on ox55 and 0x5e on the Nagra settings without success. Any ideas?

Start frequency 290
End frequency 403
Should take less than 5 minutes.
Symbol rate scroll left till you see *****, enter 6875 and press ok on your remote control.
Make sure it stays on 6875
Constellation 64 QAM
Search by network ON
Search ?.when all channels are found select view.
Go to parental lock
Current password 7777 it might be 0000
Parental lock: OFF
Install lock OFF
New password 7777
Confirm password 7777
Exit back to TV
Go to parental lock.
Goto key manager,
Nagra page.
Scroll left till you see 0x5E
and check did the keys update atomatically
0x00 key should read 0x4B.7C.D5.86.E7.01.CC.96
0x01 key should read 0x81.34.4B.3C.9E.DF.10.67
If the keys are right, the box should work after the rescan.
Or else as Fergusrb says it's still analogue signal.
You should still be able to get the freeview channels.

Brian i stand to be corrected but the box is digital and as such will not work on analogue even the freeview stations will not work but as i said i could be wrong about this

No Cheers Brian but i was just not 100% sure myself if he was on analogue if he would get the freeview channels or not and no i never thought that i was open to be corrected in case i was wrong about that as always i value your opinion as i do with all senior and other members on here as to what works and what does not as sometimes we all cant be perfect and get it right all the time as we learn every day of our lives new things and yes i will say hello to him for ya after yer drunking session you had with him lol take it handy brian and keep in a straight line :)

Hi Brian
Tried your suggestions a number of times on both 0x55 and 0x5e. Symbol rat e6875 stayed ok but scanned on both occasions without success.
It must still be an analogue signal - will this prevent the Eurovox box from working as well?

Yes it will in that area you have to receiving digital signal in order for the boxes to work so until your area has been upgraded to digital there is no digital cable box that will work in that area sorry
