i saw this micro SD adapter for PSP
on ebay it is an 8GB micro SDHC card with an adapter for memory stick pro duo and it says it is good for PSP will this work for CFW with games on it and stuff

You're asking for trouble buddy. I wouldn't use junk like that even if it was free. Usually because it will stop working in the future, or it will simply not even recognize the content correctly. A fake 2gb is sketchy enough, a 8gb is just ludicrous. I bet it says its 8gb and probably only registers half of that. I mean I'll take a sandisk anytime , but ppl are already finding ways to tell if sony ms's are fake or not--sandisk is another story. It would be difficult to even know if that sd is fake or not. Just buy a Sandisk or Sony produo- with no adapter in the long run it will be worth your money. Many ppl spend half thinking they saved--not knowing that later it will be useless and not function correctly.

There's a very long thread on the mod and firmware section. Search for microsdhc. Basically, they work - but they're tricky. Not all of the adapters can read cards as big as 8gb. You won't be able to format the card at 8gb, you'll have to format a regular stick and copy the files over to get it to work.

But I'm not going to repeat 50+ posts on this thread. Go search for the original by "microsd" or "microsdhc".
