Hey guys, i have a question for you. I have flashed my samsung, and other people's drives (samsung, benq's, no hitachi's). Whenever the next update for ixtreme comes out, can I just flash it like normal to the new ixtreme, or do I HAVE TO use like the rben command, put on the original firmware, and then flash to the newer ixtreme? Basically, I'm wondering if I can leave on my ixtreme, and flash from that to the newer ixtreme.

This is only for my future reference. thanks

I know you can with Hitachi, not sure about Samsungs.

u can Use Rben/Rsam if u want
but i've done it before with the ixtreme firmware just by using Dsam\Dben
because all it dose is copy the DVDKEY to the new firmware
