I took my PSP to school today

And of the day, I open it and I see the screen is cracked or something and it's not working.

Anyone else has this problem?

But won't I have to open my PSP and solder in crap?

I'm better off buying a hacked PSP off ebay.

lol iv cracked my screen 2 times now.

its a simple replacement.

1) unscrew the faceplate.
2) then remove the bottom button bar (flat head screw driver and priy it off from the left side)
3) then get the screw driver again and put it in-between the screen and then screen holder and priy the left side of the screen off
4) then get the other side of the screen off
5) under the screen are two ribbions (one short big one and one long thin one)
6) where the ribbions connect to the mother board there are two clips (lift up the black bits to unlock them. short fat one lift from the front. long thin one lift from the back)
7) then remove the ribbions
8) get the new screen and follow steps 1 - 7 backwards

hope that helps

just so you know about £25 is what you want to pay for a screen over that and its a bit of a rip off

ALSO take the battery out before you take the screen off. i say this because i had the battery in with the screen off and it blew the backlight fuse which does need to be soldered if it goes so make sure you take the battery out.
