Ok, well, heres my problem. I bought an already modded PSP, the snes mod never worked, but the rest of em did. The snes mod i had would freeze up. So, i downloaded the standard snes emulaor off one of the other threads here. Now, i get a The game could not be started error with the snes Emulator.
Also, I am a newbie at this, so i may have done it incorrectly. I downloaded and extracted the file and there were 2 sets of folders, so i copied the 1.5 foler to my psp Game folder. there was a eboot.pbp in the second folder though, i dont know if i was supposed to do something with that. I suppose the first step would be for meto get some good instructions on exactly what i was supposed to do so i know if improper installation was my problem or if it was something else.

I am running 3.71 M33-4 and the emulator is the Snes9xTYL 0.4.2 and i have the fat psp.
Any help would be much appreciated. thank you

After you extract the folder, open it up and there should be 3 readme files and a snes9xTYL folder. Copy the snes9xTYL to psp/game and put your roms in the rom folder and you should be good to go.

i extracted it and within the snes9xTYL folder there was a 1.5 and a 1.0 folder. Within the 1.5(I am assuming the 1.0 and 1.5 are designating the kernel) are 2 folders, one having the files to run snes(I presume)and the other having just one file. I believe it is named psp.boot. I know its a boot file of some kind, but i am only 90% sure it is named psp.boot

Ok, the website I got the files from is http://yoyofr92.free.fr/psp/snespsp.html. I didnt know which one to use so i donwloaded the standard and the me version. Neither of em work. Im pretty sure the standard is what i need though. Here are the exact steps i have taken to try to get this to work(Let me know if i did this wrong):
1. Extract the s9xTYL-0.4.2 Zipped file
2. Within that is a 1.0 and a 1.5 file (I am assuming these are for the specific kernel u are running). Within the 1.5 file are 2 other folders. One names snes9xTYL and the other snes9xTYL%. Within the first mentioned folder are several other folders and a EBOOT.PBP file and within th second folder is a EBOOT.PBP file. I copied both the snes9xTYL and the snes9xTYL% folder to my PSP/GAME folder within the psp mem stick.
If I missed something, or did something wrong. please, let me know. If not, i could really use some help figuring out why im getting what its not working.
Thanks for the help and have a good day.
