I have never posted on a forum like this so I hope I am doing it right! MikeAdams...I have read everything you have written. I am amazed at the scope of your knowledge. HOpefully you can help me. I have a magnavox mwr20v6. The dvd side works fine. I have only used the vcr side about 10 times and today i tried and it won't play the tape. When I hit Play..it plays for about 10 secs and then the unit turns off. When I turn it on again..it ejects the tape. I have tried unplugging for an hour. No luck. I have tried the cm skip 123 thing..no luck. I called funai...and they said not to bother with the firmware reload...that the rollers are shot. This makes no sense to me since they are hardly used. Help Help Help. I hope I can figure out how to get back here. Yes..lol...I technically challenged.
