Ok, I have ps2 fat and swap magic, as well as the hdloader memorycard/psx game. I don't have the network adapter for a ps2 so I don't have it tricked out like that, what I was hoping to do was just download iso's burn them on a dvd and then swap magic them into the menu to rip on HDloader, more tedious than it has to be, but I'm willing to put up with that. The problem is, when I go to put in a new game, and i'm sitting at the 'please insert game etc. etc.' menu, but it keeps spinning, and i doubt it's a good idea to try and slide open the tray while it's still reading..

Any advice?

first, you must have the network adapter and hdd to make hdloader work. hdloader will not boot unless you have them.

you're wasting blanks, because you can transfer the iso's from the computer by connecting the ps2 hdd directly to the computer, and using winhiip to transfer them.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Hmm, well then I would assume i Have the network adapter as well then.
I've currently been using the hdloader with memory card trick, but before that I had swap magic only and I'm sitting on about 2 spindles of games that i really don't wanna magic swap every time I play them anymore.

Is there a way to use magic swap in conjunction with HDloader? as I said it appears HDloader won't tell the disk drive to stop reading at the insert game screen.

To be honest, I have absolutely no idea how to set up my ps2 to transfer games off my drive. I'm assuming this is what the "ps2 exploit" is supposed to be about?
