Hi....yesterday i use ISOBuster to rip one of my vcd movie, the vcd movie was 46 mins. After that i try to use TMPGENC to burn into dvd-5 but as i was doing the wizard i notice with 46 mins of vcd it take 3.5G out of 4.7 G. I know with vcd the max is 700M but how come when i use the TMPGENC it require 3.5G????Can anyone tell me what i have done wrong, it just doesn't make sense.

Compression rate, I'd guess. If the video was high quality, then, it would take up most of the 700 MB of the CD space. Thus, unless you changed the compression rate, the resulting DVD would take up most of the DVD space, it would seem to me. Recently, I received a "VCD" but it was actually just a data CD with 3 .AVI's. The 3 .AVI's took up most of the CD space. When I converted them to DVD's with MyDVD, the resulting DVD took almost all the DVD space.
