Case mod to increase air flow?

I just fixed my RLOD, and I wanna try to avoid having to open this thing again due to overheating problems. I've seen a few case mods, but would any case be able to increase the airflow to the cpu?

theres also one that involves modifying the fan flow tunnel slightly.

I've also heard cutting the case and the metal housing directly behind the fans helps as well.

that seems wild, i'm not sure if I would cut through the case or not because if the xbox got bumped or somethin i wouldn't want it to ruin the fans or anything else that would be exposed
