I don't have a backup of my EEPROM :( , but I have a copy of the C drive, and I've tried all the methods to unlock the drive (IE hotswapping) but it still shows up as locked when I hotswap.
Is there a way to get my xbox back? I don't care if I have to format the entire drive, I just need to get it back. It's actually my dad's, and he doesn't know I borrowed it yet. I don't wanna have to go out and buy a new one.
Would a game that auto-updates the dashboard work to restore it? Microsoft want's $80 to fix it, and I could buy a used one for that, which I don't wanna do, since I'm on a tight budget... I would be willing to help with some Wii softmods for Virtual Console games, or homebrew apps...
A friend just soft mod my xbox and I'm now my dvd drive will not boot up games. Dvd's work fine. It lets me copy them to my hard drive but not games! I've tried two drives and same thing. any idea's?
