I just installed the Wiikey and am having a very strange problem. Half the time when I start up the system the DVD drive doesn't engage but everything else is normal. The eject button doesn't eject and the Wii says to put a disc in when i click on the disc icon( even though Wii Sports is in the drive). Clearly its not sensing there is a disc in the drive. Other times when I turn on the Wii the DVD drive turns on and everything works normally. However if I change games ie eject one disc and put in another the dvd drive doesn't turn back on and the system doesn't recognize there is a disc in the drive This also happen when i use a game that shuts down the DVD drive while it does other things. Because the Wiikey software does this I had to unplug the DVD controller cable and then snap it back it for the DVD drive to initialize again.

I don't know if this could be part of the problem but this piece came out when I installed the Wiikey
