hi im trying to convert avi files to dvd format im using ashampoo but i keep getting this message i dont what else to do.

That error means that whatever codec was used to encode that AVI, Ashampoo doesn't support it.You can open the file in GSpot and see what you have.

Install K-Lite codec pack and if Ashampoo uses outside codecs, it should work. Otherwise, you need a different program, like DVD Flick.
