A new way to modchip your wii. Just Clip it on to the ic and your done. great for someone who doesnt have and skills of soldering.

The price is good but it dosent support cut leg or D2C consoles, so most of the people with newer wii's couldnt use it.

It also requires you to open the console up and take it out to upgrade the chip's firmware, which kinda sucks as well.

I think that if you have an early wii you're better off with a wlip and wiikey. Almost no soldering and still DVD upgradable. (and supposedily it works on cut-leg wii's, though I've never heard confirmation of this)

Edit: sorry, I didnt read the whole thing. it apperently uses the wiikey firmware and the external programmer is just for the first install. I'd say its fairly decent then since it should be able to do anything the wiikey does.
