i am in the process of purchasing a new computer and thought i would take the plunge and upgrade to vista at the same time. i would just like to know whether all the freeware applications used for burning wii backups are compatible with vista, aswell as the LG drives for dumping games. Most specifically i am thinking of imgburn, wii brickblocker, region frii, rawdump and PPF-O-Matic 3, thanks in advance
Bro, after hours of f**king around, swearing and sweating, and swearing.... By far the easiest option for BACKING UP YOUR VALUABLE badass Wii games is using the wiikey disc backup, unfortunatly you'll need xp, and dvddump (included in Wiikey 1.2 config package), a gamecube SD memory card adapter (i got mine for jack shit), and a 2gig SD card(mine not compatible with any higher). Does it in three chunks, takes an hour or so depending on your SD to USB speed. Burn resulting image with IMGburn. 100%, backed up my 20-odd games. And I'm a retard.
